Mardi's Revenge

Mardi, born into a post-apocalyptic world, that finally finds its feet 200 years in the future, where her family fall foul of the local warlord. Mardi. presumed dead after the attack, her father and brother, suffering the wrath of the warlord’s men, her mother taken as a sex slave. She vows to avenge them after recovering from a near-death experience, and her desperate need to save her mother, no matter the cost. From ancient books, she learns to blend into her environment like a ghost, and how to live off the land from her mentor, the hermit that saved her life. Against insurmountable odds, alone, she sets out on her near-impossible quest.
